crab grass weed works right through it in no time

This is a loosely woven polyplastic material. Might work OK for rip rap like some folks say they use it for (thus the 1 star) but I tried it under raised beds that I set out and I will have to redo all of them. Crab-grass , cut-grass work right through it in no time. I had several inches of wood chip mulch on top of it too. I put some landscape fabric down under my raised beds as well so I will at least be able to use the beds this season, but I will have to take them back down to the ground and start again next season. I was looking for nursery grade geotextile. This is definitely NOT what I need.

Delivered with no protective packaging - delivered damaged. NOTE: this product does unravel so not the perfect solution when you need to cut around something (shrub, tree, etc.) or if it gets punctured by something. I cleaned the mulch bed of ALL debris and I sealed frayed ends with black heavy duty tape. Would have given 5 stars if fabric was woven tighter - I feel this will become more of an issue in years to come.

Works great under sand /1 to 2 inch crushed agregate for horse areas and people areas.
