The small tray that can help in a big way
Kenn Caesius✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 4, 2017
It's more than just a convenience for walker users "“ it's a little more freedom. With my father closing in on 90 years old, it was inevitable that he would be given a walker to take the stress off his failing knees. While hovering around mobility margin of keeping his independence to move around his property and regularly using his walker, it became apparent his immobility was somewhat hampered by the walker itself. I want to emphasize "was" "“ now that his hands are free to grip his walker, he has more confidence than ever in his mobility.

Yunga Tart Walker Tray is a plastic tray that adds a table-like surface to most walkers. Made of rigid plastic comparable to PVC, it's a solid attachment that can more easily accommodate the largest dinner plates while securing their favorite tumbler cup or mug. Not limited to carrying meals, it converts your loved one's walker into a small table so that their newspaper, magazines, and snacks are within reach when they get into their favorite chair. It also features raised edges to limit any spills or slides and a small trough to hold narrow objects like writing or eating utensils.

There one major caveat though. Because there is no standardized design for walkers, it is very important to measure your walker beforehand but as a reference, this yunga tray fits the Drive two-button folding walker without the spacers and with more than enough of a gap for a secure hold on the walker handles for the largest hands. There is also matter of placement of the cup hole: on this walker, the connecting crossbar is in the way of the cup hole so limits somewhat narrow tumblers and mugs designed for automotive cup holders. Or another way to look it at it does provides a stopper for particularly narrow tumblers.

Nevertheless, it is still a very handy tray to have around. Before I bought it, I noticed my father awkwardly intertwining his fingers on both the walker handles and the newspaper but now he can more securely get a grip on the handles while he carries around the newspaper or his book. So if your loved one is still mobile, consider a this or any other tray so they can continue with their independence.

I bought this for my 98 mother-in-law to use with her walker. It has helped her move her bowl of oatmeal from the microwave over to the kitchen table without trying to carry it. She has also used it to bring things from the kitchen/bedroom out to the family room.
Great Purchase!

I bought this for my 96 year old mother. She just recently started using a walker. I got the red one because she has very little vision left but she can sometimes see red. She is in assisted living and uses it to go to the dining room to get her food to bring back to her room. It fits well and is very sturdy. She has told me repeatedly how much easier it is using the tray and how much she likes it. I have bought her many tools for her vision and mobility, but this one is her favorite.
Add looked like I was getting a set

Add looked like I was getting a set, nope! Just one, but really useful. Needed to put 1" hose clamps under tray on each corner to keep tray from tilting. Works great now. Be sure screw on each clamp faces outward.
Great tray for temporary walker use

I recently broke my leg and have been using this for about 8 weeks now. These trays are not designed to leave on the walker all the time, because it affects your gait - you end up walking much too far behind it. So, I use it periodically. For those times you need a tray it works great. I tie it to the side of the walker and attach it when I get to where I need to use it. I usually just leave it in the kitchen for those times I am making meals and need to move things like veggies or milk from the fridge to the counter. Sometimes I'll bring it into the living room and use the walker and tray as a 'desk' when sitting at a chair.
