Purchased these for my daughter's dorm room to serve two purposes: convenient tray for eating in the room without balancing items on lap or bed while watching television, studying or just hanging out with friends, and to place on wire shelves so smaller items don't slip through the wires. These trays serve both purposes extremely well. They're a somewhat translucent fuchsia, generously sized, complement my daughter's tangerine and fuchsia color scheme, and they are "substantial" and well made. Definitely would purchase again. Highly recommended.
