I have found these to be the best shears. Years ago I bought a ratcheting shear from Cutco to support a relative earning college money. I knew they were overpriced but what can you do. Only saving grace was that they were good shears. Fast forward and I finally had to sharpen them and the hardware store I took them to blew it. They became useless as the ratcheting part didn't get assembled correctly. These are just as good if not better. They can handle larger branches easily if you just stay calm. They are excellent on roses which is mostly what I use them for. So glad I found them at this good price.

Love this ratchet pruning shear. It is sharp, cuts deep the first time, will cut limbs much larger than advertised and leaves a good clean cut. It has a good grip, is easy to hold and I like the fact that it locks shut when the job is done. Quality is excellent and I expect these shears to last a long time.

LOVE these pruners! An old injury has left my hand weak and these ratcheting shears make my gardening work SO much easier.
Quality product, well designed, has held up very well during this past season. I'm curious to see how this holds up after a few years of use.

This is the second pair of these we have bought. I do a lot of hand pruning & I find these to work quite satisfactorily. In fact, the first ones worked out far better than any others we have used over the years. They still work ok, however the spring has came detached & I now have to do a little extra maneuver to use them, which I don't have a big problem with, however my wife does. So now we have a new pair which will keep her happy for while.
Way better than my first clipper!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago to trim my concord grape vines since it is winter and all the leaves are dead and I need to prune it. Because of my first clipper was not effortless, it didn't has the mechanism like this one, I was pruning until I got blisters on my hand. Because of I just bought it and I don't want to waste my money therefore I kept using it until I got this one which is two years later. This is so much better than my first one. I am that kind of person that wanted to save money and not willing to pay a lot of money and ended up with a cheap painful clipper. This is not as expensive as the other brand that I was looking at the store near by me but it has the same mechanism as the expensive one that I saw in the store. I bought this one and give it a try and I am falling in love with it. I can't explain here how easy it was to clip the grape vines. Now, my pruning is so easy and thanks to this tool!
