Haven't used them yet!!! BUT they SMELL great!! Heaps better than other potatoe flakes I've purchase. They came in 1 lb plastic pkgs so they're flavor protected. Oxygen and Moisture protected and convenient sized pkgs. what's not to like!!
This is a high quality product.

Very good for emergency food store. We transfer it to milar bags with desicant and put them in 5ga food buckets.
Great taste! Mixes FAST.

We break these big bags down to 2-3 serving sizes, and we add powdered milk before we vacuum pack.
Problem with *most* dehydrated or freeze dried food, it got that taste... you gotta be HUNGRY to actually eat it.
These are great tasting! We eat a lot of potatoes, these got that genuine Idaho taste we appreciate.
Why buy in bulk and break it down to serving sizes? We just threw away a few boxes of dried items, purchased at the grocery store - it'd gone bad before we ate it. The dehydrated potatoes were yellow, pancake mix had that rancid walnut odor. When we were a family of 10, food didn't hang around more than a couple of weeks, it got ate before it could spoil. Now we're just 3, and we're getting tired of tossing half eaten packages of dry food, jars of salad dressings, etc.
We like these so much, we bought 2 bags (80 lbs, dry powdered).
Highly recommended to anyone who has a large family and a vacuum packer, the money you'll save for great tasting food is worth the work of repackaging.
