Not what I expected but my dogs love love love them. I have 2 small dogs. My one dog at first was not too sure about this food, I think it was a texture issue. But once she figure it out she loved this food. I read that others added water, didn't try it but I am sure it would have helped. My cat, who is extremely picky, love this food as well. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but it is sooooo worth it.

Our dog, Cocker Spaniel, 10yrs old, really likes it. We have given her 2-3 blocks with her regular dried meal for 2 weeks to see it is fine with her. And, we will replace it for whole meals for her someday. We are satisfied with this as she likes it and doesn't have any problem on her health.

My dog (German Shephard/Terrier Poodle Mix) is a picky eater. She will not eat her kibble alone, we crumble 2-5 pieces into her kibble each day and she licks the bowl until its all gone. When we are on a go with her, she will eat the cubes alone without a mess. They are healthy for her and make kibble more appealing. Also I noticed that it helps her pooping. I do wish it was a little less expensive but it is high quality. Also .. my dog will only eat the lamb or turkey flavor. The chicken and salmon gave her diarhea and the beef flavor cubes are too hard.

Love the product. Recommend. Dogs loved it and easy to portion the cubes for snacks or mini meals.

My dog is pretty much as fussy an eater as a dog can be, most likely due to the Maltese in him. From the time we got him as a puppy, he would just desultorily pick at his food; we could leave it out for days before he finished it. We went from basic kibble to premium kibble to frozen raw (which led to many discarded bowls of unfinished food that had sat out too long) to, finally, a mix of super-premium kibble and dehydrated raw, but always, whatever we tried, he was guaranteed not to finish it. Then we tried Northwest Naturals. I put out a bowl with Northwest Naturals Lamb mixed with his previous raw food -- and an hour later all the Northwest Naturals was gone! Only the other food was left in the bowl. He's never finished anything so fast except for human roasted chicken or cheese. Later that day, I put out another bowl, with the same result -- and he's been finishing all his meals ever since. Given his previous eating habits, it really is a miracle.
