A simple modification and it's a five star tool, well worth the money.
1973 AMCJavelin•January 10, 2018
After reviewing others comments about this overfilling the master cylinder, the solution was clear. I drilled and tapped the fluid holes in the cover and threaded in 1/4 inch x 1 inch long hose barbs to keep fluid level lower than the top of the master cylinder. All that is needed is to top off the master to proper level after removal of tool. For the cost of this step the factory could have had a tool that every one could have rated five stars. Hope this helps some one else.
pretty good unit and a real time saver
Amazon Customer•December 15, 2017
Overall ...pretty good unit and a real time saver. However, the supplied chains to attach the top plate would not provide a tight seal. Therefore , had to MacGyver the system by using parallel clamps. Then it worked fine.
one man brake bleeding
Jason C. Nesloney•September 11, 2017
Good product for the money, I had to make an adapter plate to fit my 64' GMC master cylinder but the pump is excellent for bleeding the entire brake system by yourself, the extra person that used to be needed to pump & hold the petal is no longer required...best money ever spent for brake & clutch bleeding.
Does not work. Save your money!

This is nothing short of junk. I tried to get it to seal about 10 times. You could see on the gasket where is sealed and where it did not seal. Save your money and do it the old fashioned way pump the brakes. Works better and saves all of the grief of trying to made this thing seal. I'm goint to try and return it a Amazon. Just checked Amazon to return and they don't have a place so you can return it. Very disappointed.
A must to bleed brake system components by yourself
Jamie Allen•November 3, 2016
A must when doing initial brake bleed. I did front drum to disc brake conversion on my '70 Chevy C10 truck. Also installed new brake master cylinder and proportioning valve and all new front brake lines. This brake bleeder gave me time, by myself, to chase down all my initial leaks. Worth every dime! Could only get the top plate to not leak when using chains as far forward and aft as possible and doing final tightening with pliers a few turns. Be patient to get the right seal. I pressurized at 1-2 psi to check for leaks on master cylinder, then gradually increase pressure and did brake bleed at 10 psi ea brake. It used about 2 psi to bleed each brake, pumped back up to 10 psi, then did next brake.
