This is a very cute little house and my son loves it (he's just about to turn 2). It fits nicely in his playroom as it's not super big.
I took a star off however because you really have to be careful with assembly. Our roof had a molding defect which left a gap (not the end of the world, we'll live with it) but more importantly, the directions were off in quite a few areas. Parts were mislabeled - we would be looking for a part labeled A and find it was labeled E. We ended up with some extra screws. Things like that... I would say just be careful that you are patient, go slow, and read and re-read the directions. If you just jump into and think it's a piece of cake you'll be frustrated.
Oh! And be prepared to have a drill! We screwed in each screw manually and my poor hubby ended up with blistered hands. A drill would have been a HUGE help.

First, let me say that this Playhouse is cuter than it looks in the pictures. Couldn't be happier! I received this on time, the box was in good shape and all parts & pieces were included. I had forgotten about the reviews saying that the instructions were incorrect for attaching the nail & hammer activity until after I ran around town trying to find the correct size screws...only to find upon my return that the shorter ones that were included are the correct ones to use! I am 55 years old and had very little trouble assembling it. I did have a bit of trouble installing the roof panels, but after a bit of ingenuity I was able to get the roof hammered down into the groove. It is fairly small as most playhouses go. My 1 year old grandson can use it perfectly, but also my tall-for-his-age 2 year old grandson fits good too. They could probably both fit inside at the same time, but would probably bump into each other quite a bit when playing. It would probably be big enough for a 3-4 year old to play comfortably inside, but more than one older child might not work well. There is lots of room for fun outside of the little house too though! It's definitely a 5 star Playhouse for small children!

I bought this 5 years ago. It's still in great shape and sturdy. I bought it for a 2 year old and she still plays with it.

There weren't any instructions so I used the pdf on Amazon. I'm guessing it is an outdated version because the pieces weren't the same letters and it called for different size screws. If you're handy like my husband it isn't too awful to figure out. With the two of us we had it done in under an hour. Super cute and we can't wait to surprise our little with it.

Used for 3 yr old boy. Very sturdy.
