At first I was skeptical about dropping $89 for compression jock shorts with a nut cup. After reading reviews and listening to Joe Rogan praise them on his podcasts, I was more than ready to give them a shot. First impression was the packaging was prestige, already a good start for a product of this value. They are extremely comfortable and never feel too tight or loose. I train Muay Thai 3 times a week for about 3 hours each time and I use the same pair, so that means machine washed 3 times a week. I've had this pair for 2 months now and they are still in new condition, the material is not fraying anywhere, nor is the color fading, nor is the fit loosening. I've been kicked and punched plenty in the groin area since my purchase of this, and it's the same reaction every time, partners stops, spits out mouth guard and with a deer in the headlights look says "dude, I'm sorry! are u ok?", and I laugh and show the top lining of my compression shorts and mumble "diamond cup!"

In a nutshell(pun intended), if you take your training serious, hands down invest in these. Definitely worth the money for the high quality craftsmanship and protection you will find in both the compression jock shorts and Diamond cup. Unlike other brands with just a cup pocket that will have your cup sliding all over the place during training, this one has the jock strap sewn into the seams to actually keep the family jewels in place and safe from harm.

I'm serious, if you ever been kicked, kneed, low blowed during training, you know how much it sucks. This prevents that pain from ever happening to you again with the exchange of high mobility due to the cup being extremely secure in place. The Diamond Cup is definitely the highest quality material out there and you will for sure be getting your money's worth.

Before I begin to tell you about how awesome this jock/cup is, let me tell you the story of how I realized I needed one. My fiancee and I both recently started training Krav Maga, and as many of you know, Krav teaches you to pretty much groin strike anyone and everyone. So My fiancee and I are practicing how to defend a choke from the side, when she is supposed to simulate a groin strike. Well, simulation turned into accidental contact (I swear I didn't deserve it either - nor was she trying to pretend it was an accident when it really wasn't), and she dropped me. Once I regained normalcy (and didn't feel like I was going to blow chunks), I went straight home and researched the best cup on the market, and stumbled across this.

I can honestly say that the price scared me away a bit, but can you put a price on testicular protection? You certainly don't want to go cheap here.

Now my finacee can practically try to nail me in the family jewels with a sledgehammer, and this cup/compressions short combo can take it like a champ. Hell I could probably take a nap with her tapping me in the groin with a ball peen hammer while wearing this and not feel a thing (although the sound of the hammer hitting the steel cup probably won't help me sleep).

If you love your family jewels, and want to protect them with the best cup known in the universe, then buy this and thank me later.

1 Star for the shipping. I bought a large through Amazon and they shipped an extra large. So I went ahead and ordered it through the Diamond MMA website.

As far as the product goes, this is the best cup Ive owned. I even challenged a few people, and I came out victorious. My only issue is it does start to press into my groin muscles after an hour or so... but hey... its a plastic thing wedged in between your legs, so you should expect to feel something. It doesnt move around when grappling or running, which is huge for me as I would have to dig around like I had crabs to fix my shock doctor cup. The price is a bit hefty, but quality doesnt come cheap. Would buy again.

This fits better than any similar groin product I've used. I've been using it for Krav Maga, and it's a world of difference. The straps hold the cup in place perfect, so even when you're moving around a lot, it does it's job. Similar brands that have cheaper products just don't compare. They move around too much and the bottom doesn't go under as far this one. Highly recommended.

I have about a 31 inch waste, and Medium fits me just right. In my experience, most cups are a little uncomfortable for karate, and after I tried this one on, it was a little uncomfortable. But within a few minutes, I hardly noticed it was there. The relatively soft (blue) edge around the cup seems to make a pretty big difference. By the end of my 1.5 hours of training I wasn't thinking about it at all. My friend and I hit it several times and I felt like it absorbed the shock well, and it stays pretty snugly in place. I wore cotton boxer/briefs underneath the cup/shorts (I don't know if that's recommended or not but I prefer it), and that didn't seem to affect the performance of the product at all. I thought about giving it only 4 stars because it's kind of expensive, but for the quality of the product, I decided it's worth the cost.
