I discovered basmati rice is not my favorite type of rice but these packages are extremely convenient and I'm positive I'll enjoy the other varieties of Veetee a lot more. I noticed most microwavable rice packages are about 7oz of rice and this one is 9.9oz for nearly the same price or less!

I discovered these at a big box store! Then they disappeared. I was thrilled to find them again. For two people they are an ideal serving. They taste like it's freshly prepared. The convenience for dinner preparation is unmatched. If you try it, you won't go back to stove prepared rice.

PLEASE remember to check the expiration dates immediately upon delivery of any foods. On some food items, they are so close to the expiration date that it's hard to use them up before they expire. (Our box said by end of AUG 2017) MOST of the time the dates are just fine, but every now and then the larger quantities don't really give you enough time to eat it all.......just sayin! We LOVE this rice!

I love the Veetee Brown Rice & Quinoa. When my local store stopped carrying it, I turned to Amazon and bought a box of it. It heats in the microwave in two minutes and tastes like I made it from scratch! Gave some to my Mom and she really likes it too! Convenient and more than enough for two people in a main meal.
