I use these for my S&W M100-1 Handcuffs, and although the key-hole on them is a very restrictive with even the factory keys, this tool has no problem opening them or double-locking them. The length of the item, without the keyring, is about twice as long as the standard S&W factory keys, and just as wide. The flag is great to use for thumb leverage across a large surface area, and the pin is easy to insert for double-locking. I would prefer to use this rather than the tiny factory keys any day...

Just came in! It comes as advertised and feels light weight but also sturdy. I hope it stands the test of time but, they are affordable either way. Shipped quick, very fast shipping.

Been in Corrections for over 23 years. Purchased this over 6 months ago and waited to give a review on purpose. I am a Supervisor of a department that uses handcuffs and transport rigs multiple times every day. This is a very well built cuff key. I have removed cuffs and shackles that the standard cuff key (that comes with the cuffs and shackles) would not unlock or broke. The key shaft is solid and not the crimped style cuff key (HUGE DIFFERENCE). The pin is solid for double locking. If you understand what I wrote then you know what I am talking about. SAFETY IS PRIORITY IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, I would not write a review that is not the truth and put my brothers in harms way. Sometimes, situations call for careful cuff removal (I have no idea how many situations I have been in the past 6 months- multiple is all I can say) and having a reliable cuff key is very important, this one is it. Plus it looks nice too.
