Perfect Size For A Crowded Cabinet

These are a good size which I like. Big enough for a good amount of salt but not too big to fit on my crowded cabinet. I wish the wood grains were more consistent on all three sections. The separate sections are well balanced and don't tip when you grab them unlike some that swing out for access.

I use this for kosher salt, coarsely ground pepper, and garlic salt. I think it works better than those that have hinges because you have easier access, and it's more stable. I will say that the patterns in the wood have more dark splotches than are shown in the photo - not sure if it's the same kind of wood or not.

This product felt and looked very flimsy and cheap. The finish was not smooth and glossy like it appears in the photo. I packed it up and sent it right back as soon as I received it, then ordered a nicer bamboo salt box with the hinged lid.

The picture shows a product with fairly consistent coloring which makes the pieces used to build the container appear more seamless -- mine does not even kind of look like that. The coloring of each piece that make up the three sections of the product go from very light to very dark and they highlight the way the pieces are put together. It's nice enough, but us not the look I was going for and I would not have bought it if I knew it looked like this. Weight wise, it isn't as heavy as I thought it would be but that isn't a big deal.
Overall, as long as you're not picky about the color variation of the wood - It's a nice product for a decent price that is versatile.

i have to give 3 stars because mine def don't look as pretty as the ones on the photo and also I kinda expected them to be just a tad bigger than they are. just so I more comfortably can dip my fingers in and and grab a scoop of salt or sugar or whatever else. The quality on mine is a bit disappointing to me. I understand its wood and there might be some cracking but mine have these few deep lines left from carving process or something. I don't think it speaks good for the quality. gona try to add a photo. overall I think Rachel could have done better for the quality on this. love the idea though.
