Don't buy this popper.
Computer GeekSeptember 28, 2016
This is by far the worst air popper I've ever seen. Following their instructions 'to the letter' only gives the poorly designed piece of wasted plastic more time to throw unpopped kernels all over the floor. Less than half of what you put in it comes out as popcorn. We've attempted to use it twice and intend to either take it back or give it to someone we don't like.

Do not buy this

Do not buy this. After only a years worth if use. The plastic top has melted and cracked. Very poor quality. Expected more from the name.

I bought this from Kohl's, I buy almost everything from Amazon but was caught up in a moment of impulse buying temptation. BIG MISTAKE, my wife and I are air pop popcorn professionals. We have enjoyed roughly 28 years of blissful popcorn popping. But this popper is absolutely terrible. As other reviewers have mentioned sooo many kernels don't get popped, I don't think they could have purposely designed it to pop so poorly. Orville Redenbacher should be seriously concerned about the damage to their brand, as I won't be trusting the brand in the future. I typically research things well before buying and wish I had in this case.
Once I order and replace this machine I will crush it in my back yard and will try to upload the result. Yes, I'm that bothered by this popper.
Pick a different model

Don't buy this model. I did, thinking it was the same as one I had had for years. NOT! It only accepts 1/4 cup of popcorn (previous model could pop 1/2cup), it throws unpopped HOT kernels everywhere, and it fails to pop several tablespoonful. The first few seconds of popping produce two or three popped kernels and a whole bunch that haven't popped.
I have to think that anybody who gave this 5 stars isn't reviewing the one they actually purchased. There are several options that look identical but aren't.
