Worked for me.
Cannot press the tab release without the use of a hammer!

Has high power to squeeze out material, but when you want to release the tube, the thumb tab is jammed so tight that you need to hit it with a hammer to release. This makes a serious mess when you want to relieve tension after dispensing chalk to stop residual flow. It is not a functional tool.
