Not the best product for wrapping fiberglass tightly
Ronnie J. Miller•January 29, 2018
Most of them didn't latch down and broke off as tightening with the tool. You could get them tight and then they just snap apart. Wasted more time trying to find ones that would stay secured around the wrapping.
They worked GREAT for that application
Kathy Harris•November 26, 2016
Careful with them, they will stress your hands a little if you use them too much without gloves. I used these to hold up a radiant heater to a coffee table for a makeshift kotatsu. They worked GREAT for that application.
... to what they cost at the store these are great. They will cut like crazy
Xtian•June 9, 2016
For the price compared to others and especially when comparing to what they cost at the store these are great. They will cut like crazy. I wes wearing latex gloves and they went right through them and sliced my finger pretty bad. I had one or two that didn't work and I threw out. To clamp them I used the twist method and they are holding great so far on my turbo manifolds, downpipes etc.
You want a first class look buy the banding tool.

My advice, Don't be cheap! BUY THE BANDING TOOL.If you want first class results use first class tools. My first attempt was a hose clamp replacement on a heater hose. Installed the clamp, tightened with the banding tool and while holding tension SNAP! cut it off, perfect hose clamp and no sharps exposed.
Great Heavy Duty Zip Tie
Brian•September 7, 2015
These work great as outdoor zip ties. I don't have to worry about the sun baking them and stuff I've hung up falling down or breaking. I've had success using them to secure fiberglass wrap to exhaust pipes in vehicles as well.
Just be careful when using them on soft material, as they can eventually wear through hoses, fabric, etc.
