This is the brand and flavor my mother always used to make her award winning gingerbread. It is fantastic. Sad that it can no longer be bought in stores for $2 a bottle like it was just two years ago. These online prices are ridiculous.

Finally I found a way to purchase Brer Rabbit full flavored molasses. It is virtually impossible to find it in my area. These three bottles of molasses are so precious to me; that I have decided that I am going to place them in my bank's safety deposit box until Thanksgiving. They are worth their weight in gold. I have just received three more bottles of full flavor molasses (July 24, 2018). Now I have six bottles of perfection. I have a recipe for Iberian Gingerbread that my family and friends can not get enough of. With a good supply of full flavor molasses I can make the gingerbread more often. These bottles will be placed in the same place that I have put the first three. I will only use one, on very special occasions. RIGHT ON BRER RABBIT FULL FLAVOR MOLASSES!

My mom used Brer Rabbit Molasses when I was a kid. Have tried other brands, but Brer Rabbit is the best. I prefer the Full flavor the best. I have to use it daily to help keep from being anemic. It is a good source of iron for people like me who hate liver.
