I use these when using oil paint for rust protection. I throw away after using to save the cost and exposure to thinners to clean expensive brushes.

I use a lot of brushes, both good and bad. I bought these solely because they we're a good deal (cheap). Lowe's and Home Depot cannot beat the price on these. I just completed repainting a 2400 sq. ft home, inside and out. I used these brushes mainly for trim. Of the the 12 I start with, I am left with 2. They exceed all expectations. Very few bristles came off. Though they do not last long, they last long enough before you need to replace. No need to fret with maintaining them for long or throwing away. Very satisfied, will order more.
