I have a full breed Husky born with heretically bad teeth - several fell out from her early chewing habits and two had to be removed before she was 3 years old. I bought this additive at half the cost charged by the VET - after 6 months use I see big improvements - definitely oral protection - looks like it makes teeth stronger - no more loose teeth - breath is great - no plaque or brown marks on the teeth now - color is much better and since I cant brush their teeth - this is a godsend. Note my dogs don't eat grocery store food / little human food except for chicken - rice - cottage cheese and are provided a higher end canine kibble and lots of water. Anyone who has had a big dogs teeth pulled knows the HIGH cost of that - most insurance wont cover extractions. I highly recommend this product - a squirt in every water bowl - every time you change it. This size bottle lasts us 4-5 months for two dogs - BUY IT!

This stuff worked wonderfully on my mini dachshund's teeth. She had some health issues and could not longer be anesthetized to have her very bad teeth cleaned. She had the breath of a beast. A couple of weeks of this and the improvement was remarkable! She didn't mind it in her water at all. I will definitely use it earlier on in future pups.

I am waiting to see the long term effects of the product. After use for 6 weeks, my dog's breath is better, but I expect the benefits to the teeth will take longer to appear if successful.
One concern - the new bottle is packaged slightly differently and the ingredient list is slight;y different. I wish Amazon would require sellers to set up an announcement or a new page when this happens. I selected the "Buy again" feature provided by Amazon, and the assumption is I am buying the exact same product...which I researched. With food items/chemical items especially, there should NOT be even a minor change to a product without an alert.

I was skeptical purchasing the water drops, but I've been very pleasantly surprised! Within a day, the bad breath in both dogs completely disappeared. I had dreaded with dog breathing in front of me, or drooling because of their foul breath. Now - I snuggle closely to sweet smelling pets! These drops are a wonderful product & I'll be purchasing more!

This is the only thing I have found that keeps my dogs teeth clean and breath fresh. I have two miniature schnauzer which are 8 and 9 years old and part of their adoption required dental work in lieu of an adoption fee. They both have only half their teeth remaining so it is very important to me to make sure they can keep the rest of their teeth. Oratene helps to keep the plaque at a minimum but what really proved to me that this product worked was the day we adopted Lucky, our 8 year old Miniature Schnauzer. He had such terrible breathe that it could knock you backwards from several feet away. His dental exam was scheduled for a week after we adopted him. The first night he drank water with the Oratene and by the next morning his breathe was significantly better. It's now two years since his dental procedure and each time we bring him to the Vet, she is shocked that he doesn't need another dental cleaning yet.
