Never worn a cup before, but I got hit on the jewels the other day and it hurt for an entire day. Decided to get this cup.
Pros: easy to wear and does not move. Stays in place and does not move at all. It's tight and it should fit most banana sizes. Once you start sparring and moving around you forget it's there.
Cons: it's obviously not as comfortable as it is to not wear one. You have to pull it up as much as you can so that your thighs don't squeeze it much. But I imagine that any cup will have some degree of discomfort.

I know this is not the cheapest option out there for groin protection, but any extra dollars go into fantastic design and durability. And it is very comfortable (well, as comfortable as any groin protection can be). If you are planning on getting serious in muay thai or bjj even, I think you should for sure invest in top tier groin protection such as this. I have several cups and this is probably the best mix of comfort and protection. I have others that are more comfortable but move around more. I have another that offer similar protection but is less comfortable. Overall I am pleased with the product. If you are sticking and kicking, this stays put and protects you where you need it.

This cup fits extremely well. I've been clipped a few times and nothing. No direct hits as of yet, but they will undoubtedly be less damaging than a bare impact. I have strong thick thighs and it is still comfortable for me to use.
