Great product that earns its great reviews

Great product... great company. Really good customer service (WHEN I finally got a hold of them. LOL!). Very handy, long-lasting product that does wonders for backyard water projects such as water gardens, ponds, pools, and other related things. Can even be used for some bathtub repairs.

Worked like a charm, love the product! Used it on an old bird bath that I got at a yard sale. I got the PA because its non-toxic and I didn't want to kill any birds or bees that might drink the water. My only complaint is I wish the directions could be a little clearer. That and a smaller size. I only needed a quarter of the can. Just waiting for something else to start leaking so I can fix that too!!

I used this product on a 130 gallon plywood fish tank (48x30x24).
Pros:
1. Dries very hard and bright; looks very good (could be perfect with 2nd coat).
2. Little odor excepting slight ammonia from the hardener, and a slight sweet smell when curing.
3. Dries rapidly
Cons:
1. I'm familiar with 2 part epoxies. This is more difficult than others I've used. Product is VERY thick and heavy, even after thinning at the recommended ratio; Causing sags on vertical surfaces. Its weight also makes it difficult to spread. This is why the mfg recommends using a squeegee. A paint brush/roller is only good on this product AFTER it has been pulled and pushed with the squeegee to where you want it ON A FLAT SURFACE. On an irregular surface much of the product is wasted as it sags. The work around for its sagging weight is to keep pushing it back with the brush until sets up enough to stop sagging.
2. The product is expensive which makes waste due to its thickness worse.
3. Does not spread as well as other epoxies due to thickness one coat likely will not be enough
You do well to mix small batches at a time; particularly if you're not familiar with 2 part epoxies and this epoxy product in particular. I mixed 6 batches of ½ cup color resin to ¼ cup hardener to do my tank completely with one coat. I settled for one coat because of expense and difficulty.
DO READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!
This product is O.K.
