Worked Great!

Used it to seal a large clay vessel to use as a fountain. Fairly easy to mix up, adhered well, and dried fast. It does not easily wash out of a brush. Plan on tossing your applicator when done.
Excellent sealing properties. Easy to use with a little pre planning

Only one coat did the job and still had a third left over. I cant stress enough, use the recommended thinner, alcohol and mix small batches as you go. If you do not, then buy three times as much to get the job done. Your choice. My lil 350 gallon cement pond and water feature is awesome!
Perfect for Fountains

I needed to seal a fountain that was made of a cast material that was not waterproof. Pond Armor did the job and did it perfectly. Even the grey color matched. It was easy to mix and very easy to apply. It set in 24 hours and the fountain is now completely waterproof and functions as designed. I would use this product for any similar applications.
We really enjoy our pond

I have a kidney-shaped pond in our back yard that has provided me with many hours of patching and cleaning activities throughout the years. I live in Michigan, and the winters will cause hairline cracks in the concrete walls. They usually appear in the same area. I've used Quickcrete and other patching compounds, including silicone. None of them are ideal. So, every Spring I clean the pond, search for cracks to repair, fill the pond....and watch it gradually drain away over the course of 3-4 days.

We really enjoy our pond, so this year I decided to leave it drained so I could power wash it, and uncover any new cracks that needed repair. I found a major one that I think was the culprit. Located at the floor and wall junction, this was a deep crack that was repaired with Quickcrete, a fast setting concrete mixture. I used a wire brush on a drill to roughen the entire pond surface. I then etched the surface of the pond with a muriatic acid solution.
I found Pond Armor on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. It is rather expensive (explains the 1-star deduction). But it offered a nice assortment of colors. I chose gray. I followed the instructions to a tee, using the instructions for rough surfaces. See first photo for the before shot.
I bought the 1 quart kit, which doesn't state the coverage on Amazon. Lucky for me, the coverage rate is 60 sq ft, which is the area of our pond. I decided to split the paint in 1-half portions, so I could apply 2 coats to the pond. Well, that plan did not work, because, like many others here, the paint started to really thicken after about 20 minutes. It was in the upper 70s when I applied this (in the shade), and that may have been a factor. The directions state to apply just enough for a 30 minute session. So, I used the first half of the paint, but was unable to put any paint on about half of the pond. I mixed the 2nd half and added a bit more alcohol to reduce it. Again, I only got about 20 minutes use, but I was able to finish coating the entire interior. See the 2nd photo. I waited overnight for the paint to cure. We filled the pond today, and if I find any issues I will update this review. The coating dries to a shiny, hard, yet rubbery film; I don't see how any water could seep through this coating.I plan to patch any hairline cracks that may develop over the winter months with silicone sealant.
Amazing stuff for ice plunge....

Added glitter to enhance the color, used white iridescent ultra-fine glitter (a whole jar that was about 6-8 oz). It did help to add alcohol so we had time as we rolled onto the freezer. Did 5-coats & it's pretty thick!

Love the sky blue color, in the 2nd photo I used CLEAR, but went to craft store & got alcohol-inks and created a poured-art effect on the bottom with 4 different colors & then sprinkled glitter on top so there was a little 'traction' (we did also add a TINY bit of white sand, only a handful to help the traction on the seat & the bottom).
