No messing around with wood biscuits. Had to try too many other wood types to find right ones. These fit exactly right each time. If we just remember, biscuits just keep depth even, not anything structural.

Another great advantage is that these biscuits have greatly reduced my messy glue-ups. I "paint on" glue on the ribs and the glue adheres nicely to the barbs. So, when you mate pieces, you don't get a lot of squeeze out. Moreover, since you have glue in all those crevices (barbs), you create a mesh of little mating "locks" when the glue dries. (If you get what I mean.) Wish they made them in more sizes.
