Great class A foam applicator

This essentially is a red version of Scotty Products yellow version. It is a great setup and better priced than other firefighting supply companies because of the number of foam sticks you get. The DVD is a must watch for any home owner desiring to do their own defensive woodland fire work. It is not a substitute for actual training but it has some great concepts, especially the FireWise practises on things firefighters do to help prep ahead of a fire such as clearing and foam application.
One thing with any foam stick applicator is remove the foam stick after use if not all consumed and store in a zip lock bag apart from the fresh sticks. Flush your nozzle with clear water as well after use.
The forest service quarter turn quick connects can enable the use of other threads and nozzles on the other end of the foam stick tube. Scotty makes those adapters as well. I have a 30 gpm 1.5 inch poly adjustable nozzle with a MaddDog foam attachment, in addition to the straight foam tube because I am a firefighter and needed additional flexibility for different foam streams. My unit is a yellow Scotty.
Overall, If you have the pump capacity and water supply, you can't really go wrong with this. Primo is a good company to work with from my direct experience.
