Loved it at first. Then it almost caught on fire.
Pump ran great until I came home one day to hear it running non stop. Almost didn't know what the sound was.
I unpulged the sensor (after tearing open the unit of course) and the tank was clean. Only had been installed 3 months. Left unplugged as didn't need AC anymore that season.
Went around doing system startup this season and figured I would troubleshoot.
Plugged tank unit into the pump and it was pulsing like it was in blockage mode. I kept feeding water into the tank with the lid off to see if it would eventually stop running. after about 40 oz of water, it just started running constantly so I was hoping that it was over whatever mood it was in. Then it just kept running non-stop. I went to get more water and when I came back there was a burning smoke smell coming from the unit. I ran downstairs to kill the breaker and man this thing really burned up good. And the sensors are clean as can be and were not even in the tank.
Diversatech covers for 2 years BUT WILL NOT HONOR FOR AMAZON SELLERS SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN BUYING ON AMAZON.
I have reached out to the seller in hopes they will honor the warranty.
