This thing is so quite had to put my hand in front of it to make sure it was working and it was moves a fair amount of air does good job at keeping things cool it you need a lot of air moved this is not for you but if you need to keep a lower flow of hot air moved this will do the job. It works for what I needed it for so all is good but again it is very quite. Enjoy and I hope this helps you.
The connector is easy to plug together

This fan is as advertised, very quiet because it only spins at 1000 rpm's. The case and fan blades are plastic so it is very light. I am using mine behind my amp standing upright by itself. The connector is easy to plug together, it only connects one way (you just have to look at first before you try to jam it together wrong). I was using a rat shack fan before this and it was too loud and I had to solder an electric cord and plug to it, which I was not crazy about doing like that. I like that this comes with in two pieces because it will be much easier getting in side my cabinet. All good!

The fan is working as advertised: efficient and very quiet It really cooled down the DVR which was in a mostly closed cabinet, but it was too late. The replacement DVR is a different model with different cooling grills but with more vertical space underneath due to thicker leg buttons. I placed the fan over the grill as I had done with the first DVR, but the new DVR started having problems right away. So I moved the DVR out of the cabinet to behind the TV in an open area and without the fan and all problems solved. I left the fan running in the closed cabinet to improve cooling for the router and TV repeater.

VERY Quiet, moves more than enough air to keep the Old Pioneer KOOL.... highly recommend. I'm using it with the 'filter' grill to draw cool air into the unit. Small Velcro pads at each corner to secure.

This is a very quiet fan which I bought to cool my refrigerator compressor I needed to last just a few weeks. For this application it just wasn't enough airflow, quite means less air. I would compare to fan that cools your computer power supply if you are trying to explain out how much air it moves and how loud it is. So feel in the top, back of your computer to get a idea of airflow I now use to cool down my electronics case and is perfect for something like that. I always read reviews and make most decision on review so I always submit a review. My electronic case didn't really need this item but now running just to help inform you how long it last.
