Been running this 2000W 24v inverter for almost 30 days. It replaced a 2yr old Victron Multiplus that got zapped by lighting strike up it's shore power line. The 2000 w 24 volt Sun Gold power Inverter supports about 300watts continuous in my garage. Lights, refrigerator, battery chargers, two fans,misc. I have test 2hr run a 1000 watt air conditioner loading it up to 75% of the inverter capacity. It did fine but I don't have enough battery power or panel wattage to support the continuous run. Things I especially like are the simple setup, GFCI plugs, built-in 20 amp breakers, adjustable battery type, adjustable battery charger amperage, readout that rolls through on shore power status, percentage of converter load, and the lights giving status. I set the dip switches on my unit for battery priority, which means it will default to the 24v battery storage first. I also wired in the shore power and keep it plugged in to a 20 amp plug on the wall. It will only kick on automatically through a transfer switch if the battery voltage drops 21.5 volts. I run only 2.4kwh of lithium phosphate batteries. It will stay connected until it recharges the battery bank too about 27.5 volts on the battery charged then it switches back over. I do wish that it had a Bluetooth but you can't have everything. Having run a Victron multi-Plus for several years I was expecting the worst since those units are really great. But for $800 this fit the bill and has been working great. I can't speak for the 12 volt versions of these units but the 24 volt inverter works great. If you're in the market for a replacement inverter you can't really go wrong with the Sun Gold Power inverter.

great inverter. big, heavy, and definitely well built - but like other reviews said, have someone help you hold it to install it, and have a solid wall or very sturdy shelf to attach it to.

has worked pretty much flawlessly for me for nearly a year now. power when inverting is very clean, audio and tv equipment works great, and no issues there ever. running two hot plates or steam kettles is a quick way to pull 3KW, and it handles that well. (batteries drain like crazy, but the inverter doesn't struggle at all).

I use it in an all-off grid situation, with some solar panels, but also use the shore power charger to charge the batteries from a generator when needed - it works great. a common use is I'll have a bunch of audio and video equipment running off it in inverter mode for hours, then the batteries get low, and I'll turn on the generator for a while to recharge batteries and provide power - no glitch, pop, or anything else - audio video runs cleanly while the power source changes.

great inverter. I bought a cheaper, super-off-brand inverter first, and it failed nearly immediately - this one is still working flawlessly after almost a year of every-day use.

Works good. Only problem I have with it. It doesn't like LED lights. If you have an LED light on a dimmer, it will flicker a little. Really annoying. Other than that. I have had it over a year and love it. It is very heavy.

So far so good! I've had the inverter for about 6 months now. Haven't had any problems so far. It's heavy, which may be a con for some but I like Sturdy, heavy, reliable hardware!
