Quality product, but I’ve developed different preferences
Brandon M Webb•February 19, 2018
This product does exactly what it says and delivers on its promises. When I got these pots I was excited and couldn't wait to use them, unfortunately I really didn't like them in reality.
When I deliver water/food to my plants I don't want to lose it through the first 5-10 rows of holes. Also, while dealing with pests, the many openings give a huge advantage to the pests and makes my life more difficult.
On the other hand once I started using fabric pots I began getting the advantages of air-pruning without the lose of nutrients and ease of pest infestations.
I believe these air pots have advantages in certain areas, specifically growing transplantable large trees outdoors, but may not be he best for vegetable/herb gardens.
Visit your local (not a big box) gardening store and speak to them about different containers. Local growers know their stuff and will turn you onto the best container for your needs.

Great pots that fruit tree hobbyist should use
H. Pierre•January 26, 2018
I'm an avid home fruit grower and have gotten tired of the root strangling I've gotten from standard pots. These Air-pots eliminate that problem.
I want to optimize growth when I receive seedlings or immature trees from the nursery. That's what I've gotten with these pots. When it came time to transplant my trees, I found hundreds of thin delicate roots that gave my trees a rapid head start. I had 2 large Chinese Chestnut, Dessert King fig, fuyu persimmon, and plum trees in these pots for one season before planting them in the ground. I will never go back to standards pots.

Great for people who tend to over water

A lot more pot than I needed but definitely keeps plants from overwatering
Didn't care for these at all
S. Scheide•October 3, 2017
These were recommended to me by an experienced grower, but I did not care for them. First of all, the dirt never stops leaking out and my tent was a mess. Second, my yield was way down when I switched from grow bags (fabric) to these. Can't say for sure the pots are to blame, but...
These make it difficult to move your plants without making a mess. Also, the dirt never stopped "settling" and eventually my seedlings were so far from the top of the pot I had to repot them!
Pain in the neck and I'm going back to grow bags.
