perfect fit and easy to change, fixed the belt slip I was having

This belt shows to be a direct replacement for my General Transmission RS800 drive belt, GT37401. It was marked the same and made in Mexico just like my original. However, the new belt is LONGER than the original. The outside perimeter of the old belt is 26 9/16" and the new one is 28 3/4". That's over 2 inches longer!!!!
In my mind, this is not an OEM replacement part.
I'm returning it and ordering from the factory.
8/27/2016 - I called the factory for this product. I was told that the circumference of the belt is supposed to by 28 1/2". I stand corrected. this is an OEM belt and I decided to use it and not return it. I discovered some other parts broken on the transmission, so I have not actually installed the belt yet.
In my mind, this is not an OEM replacement part.
