Beautiful little time-saver for lacing wheels. Simply press it into the nipple and it holds tight and lets you lift the nipple and feed it into the rim. Highly recommended.

I've built scores of wheels by hand, and have never used a nipple loader. I was quite surprised at how nice this did work. You put the nipple on the loader starts growing it on to the spoke and when the spoke has threaded sufficiently into the nipple, it is released.

It works incredibly well and is rather simple. Once you try it out you won't go back to a notched screwdriver.

This is a handy little addition to the wheel building tool arsenal. Only thing, I wish the handle was a little bigger in the palm area.
