great for science shows!
J G•July 19, 2018
We have had more laughs thanks to this product. Hubby is a scientist so he puts on a show frequently. One of the tricks is to pour water into a cup (they didn't know that there was a tablespoon of this product in the cup) and a few minutes later when he goes to drink the water... it's gone!!!
a little goes a long way

This is AMAZING Stuff
Gary Prince•July 12, 2017
The package contained exactly what the site said: sodium polyacrylate. The stuff is amazing: if you use pure water (distilled or deionized), just 5 cc of sodium polyacrylate can absorb upwards of 1.1 liters of water and turn it into a gel (putting it another way, 1 teaspoon will absorb nearly 1.2 quarts of water). It doesn't compress the water; instead, the polyacrylate expands until it fills the whole area that the water had been in.
