I like long raincoats. We live in a southern coastal area so rain happens. I have been looking for a replacement for a poncho type coat that I have had for a while and this fit the bill. I forgot to mention that this jacket zips on the left side which is opposite of most coats for men sold in the USA. Several years ago, I had to purchase a coat in Ireland and the coats for men zip the same as this coat.

granted it's long, the size was a good fit, it was delivered timely and it will work in a pinch; but, the snaps at the bottom front were "female" on the left and right side so you can't attached/connect them to close the coat. Expect to get your pants wet. The zipper and snaps at the top front were fine. The collar is very nice. There are air vents near the shoulder blades (back) but the material covering the air vets is very short -- looks awkward in comparison to other similar coats. Since it's great for "in a pinch", don't expect it to last -- the material is thin and will most likely tear with use.

The slicker works great, but even the XXXL is too tight in the torso. It's long enough, but it doesn't leave enough room to wear heavy winter clothes under it.
