Very nice looking, easy to put together and sturdy. One part is already starting to rust which for the hefty price tag I expected some longevity.

These Lucky Dog European Style Modular Kennels may be a little on the high-end side, but they're well worth it. And especially so if you have an escape-artist breed such as our Husky - or any other breed known for their ability to literally chew through even chain-link fencing. Or to climb out of an enclosure with more than a few horizontal members. The kennel is well engineered and its construction and materials are impressively integrous - and precisely as described in the product description. I was able to (alone) set it up in 35 minutes - and was also very pleased by how it was packed for shipping: the eight panel sections were well-secured into a lightweight but sturdy metal frame for ease of transport and protection. Its total shipping weight was (incidentally) 351 pounds. All in all, we're really pleased with this purchase and look forward to many years of service from a well-built kennel.

Previously ordered the smaller version (which is great) but needed something bigger when I adopted more dogs. Love these runs as they are a cinch to put together, move or take apart. This is very sturdy (a pit bull cross and very energetic Lab spend the day in it) and spacious for two dogs plus a large dog house.

The Good: Lot's of space for my Beagle/Hound mix and no concern for jumping over the 6' top rail. Very sturdy construction and easy assembly. Relatively easy for two people to maneuver the un-assembled panels up or down stairs (using mine indoors). Door opens and closes in and out with a simple latch that can be opened easily with one hand. No apparent exposed burrs, bolts, or other obtrusions to injure a dog. My dog seems much happier in this kennel than the crate he was using!
The not quite so Good: The kennel shipped by scheduled truck delivery, so a couple of weeks or so was necessary to get in the delivery queue. Kennel was shipped in a narrow 'pallet' with minimal packing between panels. Must use caution when unpacking to prevent the heavy panels from falling over. Some cosmetic scratches occurred during shipping, and would need touch-up if exposed to weather or frequent water cleaning. Attachment sleeves were only on one upright, so the corner clamps dig into the fragile paint/anti-corrosion coating (potential rust point). The door latch has no protective sleeve to protect from scratching the door panel (another potential rust point). The door hinge has no bushings, so it squeaks loudly anytime it is opened or closed. Seems to be welded in place, so no way to insert a better hinge bearing. The 'feet' on the panels are just open steel pipe, so it will damage anything it sits on. Need very strong plastic or stronger material floor protectors to prevent scratching any floor. Heed the manufacturer's warning: panel openings hazardous to any animal that can put its head or shoulders through 2 1/2 inch opening but not the rest of its body.
Overall: Very pleased! Would buy again and have recommended to other people with dogs. Hope the manufacturer considers small upgrades for future versions.
