UPDATE. I've had the machine for about a little over a month now and the gun is NO LONGER WORKING. I've been cleaning it religiously. What the heck! Very disappointing because I JUST bought a high grade airbrush cleaner and the tip of the gun has shrunk or sloped and now the stuff just spills out when its on. Sad story.

Original: Going with air brush make up has truly changed my life!! At first I was skeptical about the quality of the make up it came with and on top that I had accidentally ordered the fair two medium shades instead of just fair so I couldn't even use half of the shades that came with it which is totally fine! But it is SUCH a difference!

I will say I wish the machine was built better with how small and powerful it is so it doesn't vibrate so much and slide off the counter when it's in use, and I will say taking apart the gun to clean it could be a bit difficult at times. I used to be an airbrush artist So I know how to do it but it may not be as easy for the average person! Research!

I will say even with the small flaws it is such a life changer I highly recommend practice on your arm and hand before you go straight for the face it can be a big cake if you don't know how to do it I will also say the make up does not make me break out dried up or peel in anyway my skin actually looks like it's getting better and I'm pretty acne prone!! I do worry about the quality of the airbrush gun cleaner I smelled it and I'm not sure what's in it but it easy remedy to this would be to buy a different cleaner or just use rubbing alcohol and run it through your gun.

So I had this item in my cart for a long time before purchasing. For me this is an Expensive item considering it is such an unnecessary item. I was afraid to purchase after seeing some of the reviews that Stated that the item broke shortly after purchase. I then decided to go ahead and buy this but also purchase the protection plan in case it goes out. So now to the review part. This is for the kit that includes the fair shades. I have never used Airbrush beforeSo please excuse my unprofessional looking make up job. I have included a picture of all pieces included in the kit along with a spray of all shades on a paper towel. Pics with no makeup, pics with foundation only, and pics with highlight and contour using provided blush, bronzer, and shimmer. I ended up using the golden olive but it dried darker so i will try sand next time and may have to mix the 2. I would recommend finding your shade while you can be at home. They seem to dry darker. I have oily skin and like that this doesn't have a greasy feel or shine. No odd smell to the foundation. The shimmer has a nice coconut-y smell. The rest seems to have no smell. So far it has been low transfer and lasting. I will update if that changes. I like that this one has little raised rubber pegs so the compressor doesn't rattle it off the table and it can still get air in since it is raised. Not too loud. But also not quiet. No real instructions for doing makeup included, just actual machine use instructions. This was no biggie though since I watched a million YouTube videos before my first attempt. I was really intimidated by this but found it to be super easy. I started with the pressure/speed/psi really low so it sprayed slowly and then eventually upped it quite a bit once I got the hang of it. I think it covers nicely. As you can see in the pics without make up, I have blemishes, red tones, and even some rosacea and this covered it all. I dont think the bronze works well for me as a contour but that's just a color preference. Overall, I would say give it a try but spend the $4 to get the protection plan.

BACK TO MY REVIEW SO I STARTED DRESSING UP AS A WOMEN AND AS NO SURPRISE TO ME I LOVE IT AND WHEN I LOVE SOMETHING I GO ALL OUT THERE IS NO HALF STEPPING AND I HAD NO EXPERIANCE OF APPLYING MAKEUP SO I DID MY BEST AND DOING MY BEST I HAD TO WATCH UTUBE VIDEOS AND ASK ALL MY LADY FRIENDS FOR ADVICE WHICH WAS XO CONFUSING SINCE THEY ALL HAVE THERE OWN PRODUCTS AND WAYS OF DOING THINGS SO I HAD TO FIND MY OWN WAY . BEING A PERFECTIONIST I WOULD SPEND 5 TO 8 HOURS POTTING ON MY MAKEUP AND STILL NOT FEEL OR GET THE LOOK I WANTED UNTILL I TRIED THIS AMAZING TOOL THE ART OF AIR AIR BUSH MAKEUP IS SO AMAZING AND EASY TO USE AND FUN AND EASY TO LEARN AND IN REALITY i THOUGHT IT WOULD COST TO MUCH BUT ITS NOT THAT EVPENSIVE AFTERALL AND THE RESULTS ARE AMAZING I LOOK 99.9% BETTER THE MEN ARE TRIPING OVER EACH OTHER TO TO GET TO ME AND IT ONLY YAKES ME 1/3 OF THE TIME TO GET THE RESULTS I WAS GETTING BEFORE THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING

I compare this Airbrush with five other brands (there's only 5 in the market) narrowed it down to two and from those two I picked up Art of Air. AFter that I took a look at all the instructions and pictures and decided to go to You tube instead. Only two things to connect, easy. Then there was the steps that should be followed a) keep the air brush about 6 inches from your face for best results b) keep the speed about 50% or try on a paper and see what fits best for you c) mix the colors you want d) clean after use (this is a must). Well since I thought I wouldn't be good at doing a,b,or c, I waited and finally came to the conclusion that instead of trying to do it right, I would disregard everything (except, of course, cleaning the nozzle) and would get a bad result and would learn from that, instead of facing hte impasse that I have never used any air machine for make up and probably would do a terrible job trying to do what is right. So I aimed at doing what is wrong and release the pressure of making a mess. With that in mind I went with that little nozzle all over at any distance and at any speed, finished and turned it off. I was very surprised that the results still came up flawless. It was as if I had a thin transparent paper over my face. It didn't cake, it didn't look artificial. It was marvelous! I do intend to perfect my skills, now that I have this magic machine. This is one of the best purchases I ever made and here is why...when I look back (I should place a review for this vapor machine) at the times I had to clean the floor using the standar methods and after I acquired a little vapor machine, I realize that it was a life changing product (don't know how I leaved without it) and I feel the same way about this little machine. I just wished I had bought this a long time ago. This is an A plus, plus. It is absolutely phenomenal and I"m in love with it (at night I do remove any make up, so I don't know if it would last 24 hours and it doesn't matter to me because I like to remove the make up before going to sleep but another plus is that it did not stain my blouse either). I can't speak well enough of this little machine. I'm so impressed.

A caveat: no need to pull your needle (they say to clean it) but if it is not necessary why should you (I pulled out the trigger but fortunately the company has a video to place the trigger back...but the needle never got smirred by make up and I should have left it alone.

Number two: to make my make up look even fresher I splash some water-small quantity-- on my hands and tap on my face. I think the effect is rewarding.

My initial product was missing a part, which customer service not only corrected but went above and beyond to resolve (the response time and delivery were extremely quick).

After I had the full product, I fell in love with how simple it is to use and how much coverage I can get. I read the how-to pamphlets that came with the device (which are helpful) and watched videos on YouTube for tips on how to apply the product.

The one thing that I disliked is how hard it is to get the blush and bronzer colors to look natural on my light skin. However, to me that is not a big deal since you can mix the bronzer and blush with the foundation to try for a more gentle application (or turn down the compressor to try and have a lighter application).

Overall, this product was worth the investment, for me.
