The strap falls off all the time

The design is great, however, the straps has bad springs, and my boyfriend has almost lost the watch a couple times because it just slips off.

As far as durability and precision in timing are concerned, I'd place Fossil right up there with time-tested Timex products. which I mean as a compliment. Not expensive at all, but very functional. I'm a wrist watch junkie, and although I own several silver-toned watches with blue faces, I'd always wanted a gold toned one. The photo of this watch, however, isn't really accurate. The face on this watch is such a deep, dark blue it looks black. I even checked the product tag to see if Fossil had mistakenly sent me a black faced watch instead of a blue one (they hadn't). So I guess the decision to buy this watch would be yours. If you like the style and don't mind wearing what really looks like a black faced watch, then there shouldn't be any problem. But if you want a wrist watch that looks as blue as the one depicted in the photo, I'd look elsewhere.

I bought this watch for my son. Unfortunately the leather separated at the clasp thus dislodging it. No problem, I'll just go to the Fossil website and order a replacement band ... but they don't sell the replacement band for this particular watch. Of note is that the metal clasp on the band is a copper color which is rather unique but matches the watch. Thus if you are looking for a replacement band, you will be stuck with a metal clasp that does NOT match the color of the watch. Of note is that I emailed Fossil and they sent me a generic email recommending other bands that didn't match. Very lame and disappointing.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he LOVES IT!!! It is great quality!! The only reason I am giving it four starts is because it came in a tin, then the tin was just loose in a larger box. When I received the package the watch had fell out of the tin and was just getting tossed around the box. It had a scratch on it which I am assuming is from the tin continuously hitting it.

Beautiful watch! My boyfriend is a big fan of fossil and was in desperate need of a new watch. It's not too showey but is still very classy. The blue is really pretty. Also note that this watch is mostly focused on the stop watch. It took me forver to realize that the left small clock was the minute tracker for the stop watch and not the date.
