Hot Coco OR Baby Bottle Warmer
Jen & Mike•August 22, 2016
This is perfect as a water warmer for baby bottles! I've used this a few times for hot chocolate, and it also works great for that, but the majority of the time I use this to heat up water that I then add to my daughters bottles. It's more convenient than the microwave, and I can easily test it while its heating so I can turn it off before it's too hot. I was looking into buying a formula bottle maker machine (similar to a coffee maker but for bottles) and they were SO expensive. I stumbled across this and it's a life saver! When I do use it for hot chocolate, I love that it heats up really fast, and gets very hot! (I hate warm hot chocolate). We've owned this for a year now, and we use it at least 4x a day, and it's still working perfectly!
Pros:
- Great for hot chocolate (blends it and make its really hot)
- Perfect water warmer for baby bottles (or cooking)
- Easy to clean
- Well made (had it over a year, use it at least 4x a day and it still works great)
- Doesn't take up too much counterspace
Cons:
- None yet

Yummy and easy.

This is a good machine. Makes good hot chocolate in a much easier way than a pot on the stove with all the stirring required and burnt milk (or is that just me) I like the little basket that allows you to add small pieces of chocolate to change the flavors. Andes mint choc are a good addition as is adding white choc chunks to a milk choc drink. Chocolate malt balls add an interesting malty crisp on the top of the cocoa.
The only thing im not 100% happy about is the cleaning. The heating plate at the bottom requires something to clean around the edge where it has a rubber seal. I use the pointed end of a bottle brush. I think you would get a build up if you didn't do that. I wash the lid and basket in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Love this appliance.

It is very simple to use and easy to clean. Heats up the hot chocolate rather quickly.
I think it's worth it as long as you get it for a reasonable price

The delivery took a bit of a long time but it was during the holidays so it's understandable. The box was in good condition and I was happy with how easy to set up and start using the cocoa maker. I didn't have any chocolate bars on hand but was eager to try it out so I used the recipe on the Hershey cocoa powder and it came out really good. I also think it helped that I purchased separately the frothing attachment. I am looking forward to trying out the yummy sounding recipes that are included and am sure I will get a lot of use. Makes four regular size mug servings. The first time I used it I think I measured the milk a bit generously so it almost overflowed(very effective, that frothing attachment) but I will be more careful from now on. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Also, be on the lookout for price variations, I got it for under sixty dollars and when I checked back it had gone up in price almost fifteen bucks.
Easy to use, Clear simple instructions for brewing, easy to clean and very versitle

OMG - I love this thing. I love making hot chocolate with milk vs water because it is so much better and this unit does the trick. Easy to understand instructions, chart that tells you exactly how much to mix, you can make it with powder or bars of chocolate with water (ewww) or milk and I'm not kidding here.... It makes it the right temperature you can drink it almost immediately (not too hot). It's easy to clean with only one removable part (the chocolate bar holder that is optional). If I were designing it I would have made the cord storage differently but other than that it is perfect. You can make 4 cups - enough for 2 oversized mugs in about 10 minutes once you turn it on. Almost forgot you can froth milk in this thing too. Awesome!
