I bought the roller coaster for an 11 year old grandson. He assembled it by himself on our dining room table on Christmas. I visited his bedroom this past weekend (6 weeks after Christmas) and found the roller coaster still erected and working well. We decorated it with twinkle Christmas lights.

Bought for 7 year old nephew and I had a difficult time building with him but his mom who is used to building Lego with him, had a lot of fun and success building it with him. Found a hidden gem on YouTube with another coaster you can build from the same pieces. That multiplies the fun

No detailed instructions. Just pictures of sections put together. Difficult to tell actual color and often had to go back and substitute connectors as the picture did not show full connector shape. Some connections held together very tight and others would separate at slightest touch. I normally love putting together models but after 4 frustrating hours I trashed whole mess..

I asked my 11 year old son to give his review of this product. He did not give it five stars because he said, "At the top, I have to push off the car because the chain doesn't do it for me and where the track loops over the belt, the car gets caught up there." The K'nex Atomic is his favorite roller coaster.
