Good flavor but the last several cans had no oranges and one all white grapefruit.

My husband eats a lot of this, so decided to buy it by the case.
Great fruit chilled or not.

I love this product, chilled! About the same fruit as a half a grapefruit, without the digging. As with most Del Monte products, a notch above the other brands. Del Monte brand sometimes hard to find. THANK goodness for AMAZON!
50% tasty

I've been in the habit for years of buying boxes of citrus and cutting up my own fruit salad, on a regular basis. That is quite time consuming.
In an attempt to save time and therefore money, I purchased a set of these cans.

The fruit is edible, not as good as fresh cut of course but its acceptable. The big problem I have with this product is that the fruit is packed in a high fructose syrup. The syrup itself is no big deal... I pour it off and cant really taste it on the fruit after. The issue is, the syrup is literally 50% of the contents. I'm not saying they should pack it differently; perhaps that low density is necessary for product integrity, but what you wind up with is a 1/2 can of fruit. So basically if you want fruit and not syrup, you can think of it either as you are getting half as much as you intended, or you are paying twice the price for what you want, Either way, this is substantially more costly than it first appears.

Now that I've discovered how expensive the stuff really is in the end, I'm going to keep some cans in the pantry for convenience and go back to cutting my own citrus salad.
