Tripod mount is poorly made and missing brand name on packaging

The tripod mount was fracked when we received the item and there is no simple solution to get that part replaced. I would have to return the entire unit. Also the box and lens has no brand name...

This is an awesome telephoto lens for the buck. I always dreamed of having such a lens. I am not a professional so spending too much money on a telephoto lens is out of the question, but whenever I use it, I get a lot of looks as if I'm the master of the spot. I actually took a lot of photos with it and loved every one of them, but only in a very well lit area or in day time. Didn't try it enough times in darker areas or after sunset.
