Just bought a 5 volt wireless IP Cam. the Cam kept dropping the wifi signal even though the Cam was only about 12 feet from the router, and the power cable for the Cam was also about 3 feet too short. So these solved the problem nicely by using a 12 foot Cat 6 cable I could both connect power and also bypass the need of using wifi. Using a network cable for the Cam seems a way more stable connection. The passive PoE injectors are working great.
