Perfect for my needs

I was having a hard time choosing a nice leather padfolio for work and took a shot at this one. It turned out to be perfect! I love the thumb drive slot, and it has the perfect amount of pockets. I saw that some reviews where people did not care for the non-rigid back, but I have not experienced any problems with writing on the notepad while holding the folder in my hand.

Definitely high quality materials and workmanship. This is certainly above the level of a free padfolio I used for a couple of years. The Wenger "swiss army" logo doesn't stand out like I was worried it would. The material in the sides is rigid enough to write on if you're in need of an impromptu desk, but it's by no means solid or stiff (like a piece of wood). It's likely a thin sheet of plastic or cardboard. I think the padfolio will hold up to occasional rain/water exposure on the outside. The leather feels real, but it does have stitching which keep it from being truly waterproof. This isn't the type of padfolio I'd recommend for heavy field/outdoor work. But it more than holds its own during the once-in-a-while field trips out of the office. The pockets and keepers work perfect for me. It is a *little* tight in some of the pockets where it shouldn't be--for example, the business card holder. Cards have a slight chance of getting boogered up putting them in and taking them out. The front pocket has a tendency to catch papers when you slide them in requiring the use of your hand to guide loose paper in. Not a deal breaker by any means, just a slight annoyance. The little things bumped a star off, but overall, this is a solid padfolio.
