Aftermarket bulb made in China not original Sony

It seems all the "non original" lamps work but the design of the TV color system is out dated and gets worse over time. The bulb won't fix that. I don't know if the aftermarket bulbs are part of the problem or not. If color balance is hard to achieve or is different on every warm up is it the bulb or the old worn Sony internals. Some bulbs are better than others... "I think" . Cost of proper service of these older TV's and discontinued parts I gave up on chasing the issue and gave the TV away.

We have purchased this bulb before with no issues, however, this bulb keeps going out and is dark now.

My screen is now way too bright and the brown colors look more like blue. I have adjusted every possible setting on the TV and just not getting the right contrast and great color that I used to previously get. I no longer enjoy watching TV in my big screeen.
Don't waste your money!

absolute garbage. The bulb blew in less that 24 hours. I installed it using gloves, and all the proper technique, even gave it 24 hours to sit in my home and warm up from how cold it was outside before it was installed. Save your money, it is not worth the headache!
