Work great but recently got uglier

I have placed three orders of these (9 units total). I use them to cover switches to ceiling fans that are controlled by remotes and switches that control garbage disposals. They work perfectly, and I love that you can "customize" them by breaking off the tabs where need be (on the garbage disposal switches, in my case). They also, until this most recent order, looked great, much better than the magnetic covers I had previously purchased YBM Home Magnetic Switch & Outlet Cover MF1006-2 (2, Switch & Outlet Cover Modern). However, the manufacturer seems to have needlessly increased the depth of the cover: the new units clearly protrude more from the wall and are therefore more conspicuous/less sleek. I'm not sure if this was done intentionally or if I just received units that weren't as quality controlled? I would still stick with these in the future, but I really liked the sleeker look of the old ones rather than the bulkier, clunkier look of the new.
Mischief managed!

So far, they are doing a good job. I purchased these because my 4 year old would think that turning off ALL the main lights was a game :P
I purchased the 9 pack and received it promptly through USPS. You might not believe me, but I purchased these along with a prime item (2 day shipping), and I received this first! They were easy to install and they seem to work so far.
In the packaging, there were 9 guards and the advertising cardboard with the instructions. There are no screws since the intention is to use the ones already on your switch. If they are too small, you will need to puchase the screws separately.
The guards have two ways of working, either you leave it as is or you can snap off the corners. If you leave it as is, you will need to use a pencil or some other tool to access the switch. If you decide to snap the corners, you will be able to access the switch by the corners only but you will be able to use your finger.
The switches are clear and strong enough for it's job. Could they break? Potentially with some force, but then again, thet cannot be too bulky or else you will not be able to install them.
The only thing I do not like, and it's not really a big deal, is that the guards have the brand information on most of the switch. It is clear, but it is just not as aesthetically pleasing once you are near it.
If I ever need more, I will definitely purchase again and I do highly recommend them.

Works as advertised

I needed to put something over a wall switch that also controlled a socket that where I had a router and security hub connected. Every time I walked into the room and turned on the light (oops), it turned off the router/security hub. Not ideal. For some reason, I couldn't seem to avoid doing that every so often even though I knew better. These plastic covers fit over the switch and prevent my stupid fingers from switching off the important stuff. The only downside is that now Amazon recommends all sorts of Shabat items.
Works great to prevent toddler from casually switching the rockers!

These are great - they worked just as we had hoped to keep our toddler from flipping a set of switches above his changing table in the bathroom. The corners of the covers can be snapped off; we left the corners on the switch for the extractor vent fan, which we hardly ever use, and although his fingers could fit through the access holes for a while (the holes are about the size of a wooden pencil eraser), his fingers are now too big. For the light switch, we snapped off the corners and it's easily accessible for us and for him, but the cover prevents him from reaching up with his foot while we are putting on clothes and turning it off... and on... and off... and on... and off...
4 stars instead of 5 because they are thick (a good thing) which made it hard for the small screw on one side to reach all the way into the threading in the switch itself. I eventually managed to get it to catch, but if they cast these with a small counter-sink or something for the screw heads to make the plastic a bit thinner, I'd be happier.

Easy to install, works great

I recently installed a bunch of smart Lifx BR30 recessed lighting type bulbs in my house and needed a way to prevent people from accidentally switching off power to the bulbs. I thought about installing dummy switches inside of the wall switch panels, but wasn't sure I wanted to commit to smart bulbs permanently. The other challenge I have is that most of my wall switch panels have 3-4 rocker type switches in each panel and I only wanted to disable 1 of the switches, not all of them. In addition, each recessed light that I want to convert to a smart light seems to have at least 2 or more rocker switches placed in different wall locations that can turn it on/off. I purchased the bulk pack which came with 9 clear rocker type switch covers and they arrived in less than five days' time using standard shipping (two day prime shipping was not available). These switches were very easy to install and I was able to reuse the original screws from the switch panel for most of them. (For a few, I ended up needing to use longer screws to get the covers to stay.). They fit perfectly and I am happy with the way they look.
