Love love love this coconut oil. I love the size jar, too. It is the perfect size for my kitchen cupboards. It is not too large or heavy and can be grabbed easily from the cupboard. I have had larger size jars and they are cumbersome and awkward.

As far as the flavor and texture, this coconut oil is great. It has a mild coconut flavor which you will taste in mild foods, but is easily overwhelmed by spicy foods. I will say, it is NOT covered up by cocoa or cacao flavor, though. I find that if I use it for making a chocolate cake or brownies, you still taste the coconut, although this is not a bad thing. But if you are looking for one without flavor, choose a different one.

We have even used this for making some homemade skin treatments as well. It works great mixed with other oils for moisturizers and for lip balm. I love it as a general all around coconut oil. My skin loves it too!

Sometimes I apply it straight to my lips if I am working in the kitchen and don't want to go looking for my lip balm!

I've purchased this exact brand and jar size on amazon several times and have been happy with ny purchases. However I just received a new order from Health Zone and they did not bother to do a quality check on my order. Just looking at the coconut oil (solid form) the structure is sooo off, cracked, and it is beginning to turn yellow (which means that it is going rancid and is obviously a bad batch!). Not only do I cook with coconut oil but I also use it as a body moisturizer, and a base for my toothpaste. I can't believe they would send this awful batch to a paying customer. I definitely want alk my money back because there ia no way I will use this coconut oil but I will also make sure not to purchase any products from HEALTH ZONE!

Love the taste in my coffee. Not too coconuty. but the dog won't touch this one, which makes me a litttle Leary so I gave it 3 stars. She typically loves it.

Excellent subtle coconut smell and flavor this is about the third oil I've tried and I love it! on my second bottle...so disappointed that my husband just told me coconut oil isn't as good for you as originally thought but will continue using it

Best coconut oil out there,it's shockingly even better than shea moisture brand.the quality of it feels more natural and organic. This is my favorite brand. Great jar size as well.
