I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Royal Family brand mochi & found one in this product but I made a mistake. This mochi is not soft, stretchy, sticky & chewy. It is basically like a hardened marshmallow. It has so much sugar that the taro flavor is completely overpowered by cloying sweetness. Not to mention the ugly, gray, gritty filling that looks NOTHING like what's pictured on the box. Very disappointed in this product. Going back to the Royal Family 4 pk after this. Don't waste your money, kids. :( requesting a refund asap.
