Bought this holster for my Heritage Rough Rider, "Johnny Boy", 6.5 " barrel 22lr SAA revolver. I was a little worried when I first opened the package as the holster seems pretty large for a Heritage Rough Rider. I just simply stepped on the holster to flatten it out a bit and it fits a lot better now. As one person already stated, a gun with a 6.5" barrel Rough Rider fits perfectly flush. Any more barrel length would make it stick out the bottom. I prefer to have all the barrel covered, but to each his own. The quality of leather isn't the highest grade, but I can tell from the thickness and heavy duty stitching that this holster has will last for a very long time. Expect it to be very stiff at first, I'm sure it can be "worked" to break it in though. I am constantly taking out the gun and holster and holding it. Looks good and functions well. Highly recommend this holster!

Good quality and the price was reasonable.

This seemed like a very well made piece. It's made in Mexico, not in China! Nice thick leather, nicely tooled, pretty color and it fit both my revolvers perfectly. This seemed like the best value for the least expensive amount on Amazon. I'm happy the first one I bought from a different seller had an issue in delivery... it didn't show up leading me to find a different one which was this!

Spend your money on this, you won't be disappointed with it.

Great quality of a product, I love it. Four stars because the color of the leather was not what was depicted on product photos. Mine was a very dark brown instead of the lighter red/brown in the photos.

It's nice, but it didn't feel like it would last under normal conditions in the field. My unboxing was ok, but roghtbaway it looked tiny or for a toy pistol instead. It actually fit my 6.5" Ruger New Blackhawk perfectly, and has very nice details. It doesn't really stick out the bottom either. It had some rough edges as well but nbd. It's nice if you're going for a cowboy look, and has the leg tie, but for my use that wasn't very practical. It's lightweight and has the retention string, pretty stiff leather and genuine smell - made in Mexico . I ended up getting a Bianchi for $30 more and kept that. One belt loop and better, oiled leather that was made for the gun. I think if you're not going to put this through the ringer and need something lightweight that looks authentic and has some character, it's a good choice, if you will put this through more abuse, I'd get something else.
