I first bought this cause I was very impressed with nvx 1200 mono block clean power then with the jad 800 with there varies component speakers so I decided to pay the extra 10 for the nvx. Eq then for the clarion eq. this eq made a huge difference with a 7 volt out put I had to go lower the gains on my amps which its a good this system is loud and clear
