I do like the fact that this mattress protector doesn't move like some of the other mattresses. However, it is a little too short overall. It should protect well over the mattress but it does fall short by appx. 2 " on all sides

Seems good so far, though haven't spilled anything on it, so don't know about water resistance protection. Just thought it would be good to protect the mattress in the event of a spill or other issue.
It was not too easy to tell where corners are when placing on mattress, making placement a bit tougher. Hopefully the water resistant feature won't break apart as the original protector (that came with the Tempurpedic mattress) did.

I haven't tested the water proof yet. I have this on my little camper mattress. The dogs do sleep with me. If there is an accident, I hope it takes care of that and not let the accident go through. I have a custom made mattress so there isn't any mattress cover that will fit it snuggly. But the way I put it on there and the fact that the mattress is on the rug on the floor, it doesn't slip. I have a small tear drop type of camper. (can't stand up) Easy to wash, I do follow the directions in how to wash. I line dry. I gave it a 4 since I haven't been able to test for water proof and do not wish to say it will not let water go through. Seems sturdy enough
