I can't carry bags on my shoulder but other fanny type bags are too small or hard to get into the openings or stick out too far from waist. This one wraps around my waist more than out. & holds a lot. The compartments are great organizing areas.This is my 2nd one in a year as the other one has lasted really a long time but just started to have a split in it after all this time...It's still usable tho! But ordered 2 this time in case I can never get another one like it. UMM ...think I will order 1 more for order sakes. Fabulous quality is great & usablility is wonderful. Hope it never goes out of manufacturing.

Arrived one day later than estimated, but that was due to the holiday season, and it didn't bother me at all. The price was GREAT, and this is the 5th time I've purchased this particular fanny pack. I'm very tough on them, as they're jammed full of stuff, and I wear it every day. There is soooo much room in these, that you can fit everything you'd ever need, and it'd only be about half full!!! In the cell phone "pockets", I keep my LG Treasure 5" smartphone (it's a very tight fit, as it's designed for a smaller 4" phone, but it works, even with a protector case on it!)...and in the other pocket, I keep my vape mod, which is large and somewhat heavy. I carry a large wallet in the main zippered area, and in one of the front zippered pockets, I carry extra batteries for my vape, along with a mini-charger for my cellphone, and a bunch of miscellaneous items. It's quite heavy by the time it's fully loaded! Oh, I know that fanny packs aren't the ideal fashion statement, but all of this stuff wouldn't fit in anything other than a purse, and being a 6'3", 225 lb. male...I'd rather wear a fanny pack than carry a purse! LOL! I've been using a fanny pack for years, and haven't had a single back issue since (opne of the reasons I began wearinga fanny pack in the first place!) If you're using a big fat wallet which causes you to sit somewhat crooked, you may wind up being a big fan of fanny packs too one day. I think back issues are inevitable with bulky wallets. By the way, this particular style fanny pack seems to last 9-12 months with extreme use. After that, the stitching starts coming apart. Don't take that as a negative!! This thing would have to cost $80 or more to withstand the abuse it takes, and still hold up longer than that. I just buy roughly one a year...and I'm totally fine with that. It's a great choice, and I am totally satisfied with the seller, the price, and the product. Thanks again Amazon!

There were several similar fanny packs, but I just decided on this one and am glad I did. You can read the measurements but that is nothing like actually seeing the pack. It is big and I love it. I have other bags and totes, but in the airport or on a walk this will carry all the essential documents, etc. My Amazon 10 inch travel organizer will fit inside. It's not a backpack, but can handle smaller applications. It has lots of compartments and seems of good quality.

Edit on 08/08/2016: I returned this fanny pack 2 weeks ago after using it twice and both times when it came in contact with anything damp, the black dye colored off. It didn't matter if it was water or perspiration from my hands. This thing bled black dye and I couldn't wash it out of my cotton shorts. Amazon did allow a refund. Honestly, this would have been an excellent fanny pack but the strong smell and black dye coloring off were too much. Fortunately, I have the extra large one I ordered from a different seller for the same price which doesn't suffer from this problem. End of Edit on 08/08/2016.

Original Review: This is noticeably larger than my GF's standard-sized fanny pack made of the same material. We wear these when we go to the amusement parks. Excellent size and fit and expands sufficiently to comfortably accommodate people with a larger waist size. If you're a 36 to 46 men's waist size, this will accommodate you. HOWEVER, I do have TWO significant gripes about this bag. First, as several other reviewers have stated, this bag smells quite strong of either leather or some type of chemical / dye / protectant that's been applied. I aired it out for a month before using it and it helped somewhat.

The other issue is that this bag started to color off onto my shirt. I took it to the bathroom and wiped it down with damp paper towels and a lot of black stuff came off - almost like shoe polish. By then, however, my fingers were already black as though I had picked up a leaking ink pen. Took few bathroom visits and hand washings to finally get all the black color off of my fingers. As soon as I got home, I pulled out the shoe brush and started brushing this fanny pack as I would my shoes. Then I took a white paper towel and rubbed it down and pretty much all of the black stuff was gone but the leather didn't look any more shiny (not that I wanted it to). Fortunately, the black substance could be washed out of my Nike Dri-Fit shirt in just the regular laundry. Aside from these two issues, the bag has been great, albeit I've only used it twice. I do believe that giving this bag a thorough brushing with a shoe brush will help to eliminate the smell and the more alarming problem of the black substance / chemical / dye / polish coloring off one one's clothes.

Despite these two issues, I'm still going to give this 4 stars. If it holds up, this will have been quite a useful purchase.

The pack is wonderful, even better/larger than I expected. There is room for everything I want to carry with me, plus a little space to spare. In the main zip compartment, for example, I am able to put a ten ounce bottle of grape juice, a billfold, an iPhone 6S Plus in a slim case, a one ounce bag of potato chips, a GPS receiver, a pair of earbuds and a couple of other small items. The other pockets aren't as big, of course, but I have found things to put in them all. As indicated in the descriptions for both products, this pack isn't quite as large as the one with the Item Model number FP519BLK, but it suits my needs quite nicely. Besides, I am glad I have more than one of this type of product, and that I'm able to switch packs quite easily, since the compartments are all in the same place.
