Thin metal, and low quality enamel coating, but it does the job and it's very inexpensive.

Love this pot! Did notice the handles can rust from te inside our after a while (like a year) so I just clean that with a disinfecting wipes and avoid water. Lid also rusted where the water builds up. Still bought another one though because their easy to clean. I will just avoid towel dry lid when done cleaning it
