After spending years scraping ice from car windshields, I bought a different brand last year and loved how easy it was to go out to my car in the morning and just whip off the cover and take off. However, that windshield cover did not have the over the mirror attachment pockets or the connecting strap that goes through the car between doors. That made it difficult to put on when there was the least amount of wind. With this cover, I pull the cover over each side mirror, then connect the strap which has an interlocking hook on each end. Next, I push the excess material inside the door on the passenger side and shut it. Then I go around to the driver's side and do the same. That's it. Just reverse to remove and it is very fast and eliminates scraping the windshield. The side windows still might need a little something, but that isn't much and I live in a pretty cold, snowy area. These are great.
Bad design Poorly Made

This is NOT heavy duty!!! One mirror pocket seam was already ripped when I took it out of package. Having pockets to slip over mirrors is great idea but very poorly executed in this product. Also, there are two straps for adjusting size to fit individual windshields, but the two straps with associated buckles are on OUTSIDE of cover, meaning they will be covered by ice and snow, and given very poor flimsy material, will probably rip off the first time one tries to brush snow and ice off cover so that it can be removed after a storm. This is such a shoddy product that I am surprised Amazon sells it.
Nice looking weather guard.

We haven't had cold enough weather to actually try these out yet, but I bought one for everyone in my family for Christmas. So far, the material appears to be of decent quality and it folds up into one of the mirror pockets for easy storage. I love that this cover includes covers for the side mirrors; none of the other covers I researched offered this feature. I'm a little worried about how the top of the cover will stay on if it gets windy and if I will get a ton of snow inside my car when attempting to open the doors to undo the clasp. I will update when we finally get some snow!
Update: we were stuck in a huge blizzard last week and I gotta say, these covers really held up! We put 5 covers on at our house the night it started to snow (Friday) and they stayed put until Sunday when we were finally able to venture out and clear off our cars and the driveway. Heavy snowfall and high winds didn't bother any of these covers! Nothing got stuck, nothing broke, everything worked great! My brother's best friend even asked me to get him one, so I just ordered another! The top of the cover wasn't an issue- we shut the top corner of the covers in the car doors and no snow got underneath.

Works better on our Pilot than on our Civic.

So far this has worked great on our Honda Pilot (which surprised us) but it doesn't work as well on our Honda Civic. It seems that the issue has to do with the angle of the windshield on the Civic which, though smaller in general than the Pilot, slopes much more and so it's difficult to get the cover all the way down to the windshield wipers on the Civic. We actually bought it for the Civic but used it on the Pilot first.
So far we've only had light snow, but it's kept the windshield mostly snow/ice/frost free. We will post an update after we've used it for a while in different conditions.

My son has been using this on cold nights since his car stays outside. This saves him time from having to scrape his windows before heading out. Yes, he still has to do his side & back windows, but this certainly saves him time!
